Special prosecutor opens criminal proceedings against FIFA president

A special prosecutor appointed to look into undocumented meetings between Swiss Attorney General Michael Lauber and FIFA President Gianni Infantino has launched criminal proceedings against the head of world football and requested approval to open proceedings against Lauber, Swiss authorities announced on Thursday.
