On Tuesday evening, members of Parliament voted in favor of preventing the UK exiting the European Union without a deal. On Wednesday morning, MPs secured a vote on forcing the Prime Minister to come up with an alternative plan if, as expected, her own deal, carefully negotiated with Brussels, is blocked by the Commons next week.
