Following its collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art's on the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," the Vatican has made another unexpected foray onto the secular culture scene, opening a pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale for the first time. (The city-state previously participated at the Venice Art Biennale in 2013 and 2015.)
